With 28 years’ experience specialising in taxation, company secreterial services and superannuation, Sonya has built her expertise at KPMG in Melbourne working with large corporates and fund managers. She then moved to a second tier firm where she applied her corporate skills to the SME market, before co-founding Burke Advisory. Sonya enjoys the process of guiding and empowering clients to understand their finances and to achieve their financial goals.

Brandon has worked with local and international clients across many industries to develop a diverse range of skills and expertise in financial management and associated technology. Brandon’s consultative and analytical skills provide clients with insightful data, accountability and calculated advice that drives greater clarity, confidence and ultimately success.

Christine has 17 years' specialising in compliance and business advisory with an emphasis on GST, CGT, income tax and accounting across a range of industries including property developers, IT, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. Her exceptional level of technical skill gives her clients peace of mind that they are in the best of care and are achieving the best possible result. Katie has 12 years tax and accounting experience. She is a Senior Consultant who specialises in Self-Managed Super Funds as well as tax and accounting for Companies, Trusts and Partnerships to which she provides tailored advice solutions. Katie enjoys getting the best outcome for our clients, not only at tax time but throughout the year.

Margo has 12 years' experience in bookkeeping, working in finance teams for medium and large businesses in the manufacturing and transport industries, before transitioning into an accounting role with Burke Raftery. She likes getting her clients organised and highly values efficiency and accuracy.

Theunetia has 15 years' experience in accounting with extensive experience in business accounting and tax planning. She specialises in self-managed super funds, compliance and tax matters. She thrives on helping clients reach their goals, giving them knowledge and understanding of how the tax system works to make their experiences of dealing with tax easier.

Tina has 16 years' experience in financial accounting, starting her career with a large construction company in the US, before taking on a Financial Accountant role at UPS in Ireland, responsible for reporting on the European businesses. She has spent the last 10 years looking after her SME clients as their virtual accountant, looking after everything financial to enable them to focus on growing their businesses, knowing the accounts are in safe hands.

Aidan believes that businesses should be able to use their data, people, and software to drive a real competitive advantage, using mathematical techniques. His background in mathematics and operations research enables him to leverage systems or processes. Aidan uses commercial mathematics to help clients make better business decisions.

Le-anne is the Brisbane Office Manager. She is often clients first point of call when connecting with our professional advice team. Primarily she liaises between our clients and the professional team to assist with servicing client needs throughout the week in a busy office environment. Being a real people person, Le-anne greatly enjoys being part of the Beyond family, always welcoming our clients with a smile and energetic personality.

Hannah, our Client Services Officer, brings over 4 years of experience as an Office Manager and Client Services Officer in both allied health and law.
